Meridian School of English is a small family run school with small classes and a friendly atmosphere. Established in 1979.

he
school is based in Southsea, which is the holiday part
of Portsmouth and is 100km from
London on the south coast .We are close to shops, buses,
beach and the university, which provides the city centre
with a lively student atmosphere.
We are also near Gunwharf Quays an exciting waterfront
shopping and leisure complex.
CLASSES
AND COURSES
We
offer general English courses for adults all the year round.
Students can start on any Monday and
do any number of weeks. The minimum is one week. Classes
have a maximum of ten students in the winter and 12 in the
summer. We also offer
examination courses for IELTS and Cambridge First Certificate.
In the summer we run residential or non-residential junior
courses at
the university of Portsmouth.
FACILITIES
Meridian
students have free access to computers with broadband e-mail and the internet.
There is a self-access room with language laboratory type listening units.
There is also a large garden.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is with English families with full
board or in flats, which are self-catering. Families are walking distance.
